Meet the ButterFly Family
Well hello! My name is Alexandria Trevino, and I am incredibly excited for this opportunity to work with ButterFly Entertainment. I am currently a junior at The University of Texas at Austin where I am studying public relations and minoring in textiles & apparel. I grew up in San Antonio, Texas with my mother and sister, but I have fallen madly in love with the city of Austin while I have been here.
Outside of school I really enjoy dancing, writing and eating ridiculous amounts of pad thai. My friends and I try to visit new spots around Austin throughout the month, but you will typically find us at Zilker Park, Alamo Drafthouse or outside of Gordough’s food truck.
I’m really thrilled at this opportunity with ButterFly, and I can’t wait to start working and learning with this amazing company. When I first thought about the opportunities I could pursue with public relations, I was unsure of what I could picture myself enjoying. As I talked to friends and did some investigating, I realized that I could definitely see myself appreciating and excelling in event planning. The thought of helping create someone’s perfect event gives me the ultimate happy butterflies. I’ve had a very brief history with low scale planning and I am a part of the Texas Belles Event Planning Organization, but I know I still have much to learn about the industry.
